It is announced for the information of 2018/2019 graduands of the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Cape Coast and the general public that the 17th Session of the 51st Congregation for the award of graduate degrees to persons who have successfully completed their programmes of study in the aforementioned academic year or earlier, is scheduled for Friday, 31st May, 2018. The ceremony will be held at the New Examinations Centre at 10:00 a.m.

It is announced for the information of 2017/2018 graduands of the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Cape Coast and the general public that the 6th Session of the 51st Congregation of the University for the award of graduate degrees to persons who successfully completed their programme of study in the aforementioned academic year or earlier, is scheduled for Wednesday, 26th September, 2018. The ceremony will be held at the New Examinations Centre at 11:30 a.m.
The School of Graduate Studies and the Institute for Oil and Gas Studies, University of Cape Coast invites applications from qualified persons for admission into a career-oriented regular fee-paying programme MPhil (Oil and Gas Resource Management) for the 2017/2018 academic year.

1.1 TARGET GROUPS
Applications are invited from qualified persons for admission into full-time REGULAR graduate programmes in the University of Cape Coast for the 2018/2019 academic year, beginning on 1st August, 2018. The School of Graduate Studies is collaborating with the College of Humanities and Legal Studies (CHLS), College of Distance Education (CoDE) and Graduate Students Association of Ghana-UCC (GRASAG) to organize a seminar for Graduate Students, Advisors, Supervisors and Examiners for the aforementioned Colleges. The aim is to enhance capacity for postgraduate research.
The seminar will discuss ethical issues in research, data collection and management skills, development of research instruments and statistical tools, their application and underlying assumptions.
The School of Medical Sciences, UCC would be hosting the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Visiting Scholar, Dr. Olumayokun Olajide, from the University of Huddersfield, UK from 9-23rd of September, 2017. As part of his activities at UCC, Dr. Olajide would give two faculty lectures on Tuesday 12th and Monday 18th September, 2017. He would also facilitate a half-day workshop on grantsmanship on Monday 18th September, 2017. All these activities are open to all postgraduate students free of charge.
